I went out to my car in the morning to start prepwork to leave. Connected to my last point - one of the remodel areas was an elevator. They left remodel areas wide open to the public with no access restrictions or warnings outside the area. The hotel was apparently doing a remodel. For the price of the room, paying extra for a meal seemed excessive. What is the point of having an in-house restaurant when guests don't receive an incentive to go to it? The majority of hotels offer breakfast of some kind. On our floor, there was a carpet partition in the hall that could also be a challenge for wheelchairs. At least one outside wheelchair ramp was compromised due to sidewalk damage. I occasionally picked up wifi from a nearby hotel owned by the same company! 4. We were on the fourth floor, and the network never even appeared. There were no covers or bags in the waste bins in the room. I didn't see a single smile and was never acknowledged or greeted any time I came through the lobby. Staff were rude or indifferent both over the phone and in-person. I'll list it out - not necessarily in order of disappointing. The price and style of this hotel did not justify the experience. Different establishments have different expectations. I have never written a hotel review, but this experience was bad enough to warrant it! I have stayed in a wide range of hotels and motels, and generally you get what you pay for.
